LADY MARGARET PEYTON
This illustration, dated 1484, is also known as the Lace Lady, a superb brass in Isleham Church, Cambridgeshire. It shows Margaret wearing a Venetian brocade gown. She also wears an attractive "butterfly" headress, which was briefly fashionable during the reign of king Edward IV.
