CELTIC CIRCLE
This panel is based upon a design from the book of kells, arguably the most splendid of illuminated manuscripts. (For more information on the book of Kells please see description for the "Inhibited Vine"). The design consists of five birds with topknots intertwined with ten reptiles or serpents with topknots and tails.
